Isingiro District has been named Uganda’s best-performing local government in service delivery, scoring an impressive 98.37 percent in the 2025 Local Government Management of Service Delivery Performance Assessment.
According to the National Synthesis Report released by the Office of the Prime Minister (OPM), Kiruhura District came second with 97.10 percent, while Nansana Municipal Council ranked third with 94.50 percent.
The assessment evaluated how local governments manage and deliver public services to citizens, highlighting areas of strong performance as well as those requiring improvement.
