Uganda’s vibrant tourism and specialty coffee offerings took center stage at the 2025 Warsaw International Tourism and Travel Fair (TT Warsaw), where the Uganda Embassy in Berlin, led by Ambassador Danny Ssozi, participated with great success. From November 20-22, 2025, the Uganda delegation, supported by a range of partners including the Exclusive Sustainable Tour Operators Association (ESTOA) and SeraWild Coffee, showcased the best of what the East African nation has to offer, drawing attention from tourism professionals, coffee lovers, and the public alike.
The Uganda booth became a focal point for showcasing the country’s diverse tourism experiences, including its renowned gorilla trekking adventures, thrilling wildlife safaris, and rich cultural heritage. The stand also introduced attendees to Uganda’s specialty coffee, further solidifying its reputation as one of the top coffee producers in the world. By blending cultural engagement, product sampling, and dynamic marketing, the team presented Uganda not only as a top-tier travel destination but also as a leader in sustainable tourism and coffee production.
ESTOA member tour operators took full advantage of the fair’s platform to highlight exclusive, high-quality travel packages to Uganda. The curated tours emphasized responsible tourism practices, underscoring Uganda’s commitment to preserving its unique ecosystems while offering travelers unforgettable experiences. Whether it’s tracking endangered mountain gorillas or experiencing the traditions of local communities, the tour operators showcased the country’s ability to provide meaningful and sustainable travel experiences.
SeraWild Coffee, a key player in Uganda’s specialty coffee industry, also played an integral role at the fair. The company introduced attendees to the rich, bold flavors of Ugandan coffee, with many visitors expressing their appreciation for the high-quality beans that have made Uganda a coffee lover’s haven. The sampling sessions at the booth sparked significant interest from both tourism professionals and coffee connoisseurs, many of whom were eager to learn more about the origins of Uganda’s coffee and its journey from bean to cup.
Uganda’s participation in TT Warsaw 2025 was a significant step in enhancing its visibility in the Central and Eastern European markets. This strategic presence aligns with the Uganda Embassy’s broader efforts to attract more international tourists, promote Ugandan exports, and establish new business and cultural partnerships within the region. By engaging directly with European stakeholders, Uganda is positioning itself as a premier destination for adventure, culture, wildlife, and premium coffee.
The success of Uganda’s exhibition was made possible by the strong collaboration between the Embassy, ESTOA, SeraWild Coffee, and other local partners. Together, they not only raised awareness of Uganda’s offerings but also built lasting relationships that will help foster greater tourism inflows and trade partnerships between Uganda and Europe in the years to come.
This year’s fair demonstrated the growing recognition of Uganda’s tourism potential and the global demand for its coffee, marking a significant milestone in the country’s ongoing efforts to showcase its unique heritage on the international stage. The success of the Uganda stand at TT Warsaw serves as a reminder of the country’s rich cultural and natural resources, and its potential to become one of Africa’s top tourism and coffee hubs.
