Media personality Fifi Da Queen has responded to singer Lil Pazo after he allegedly accused her of extorting money from him, dismissing the claims as false and expressing disappointment over the accusations.
Fifi said she was surprised that Lil Pazo would turn against her despite what she described as the support she gave him during the early stages of his music career.
According to Fifi, she was among the first media personalities to play Lil Pazo’s music on Bukedde TV, helping introduce his songs to television audiences when he was still building his name in Uganda’s entertainment industry.

She explained that supporting the singer had not always been easy, claiming she faced disciplinary action at work on several occasions because of her decision to play some of his songs, which she described as vulgar.
Fifi said she took those risks because she believed in giving the musician’s music a platform, making the alleged extortion accusations particularly painful and disappointing to her.
“Of all people, Lil Pazo, it shouldn’t be you attacking me. You have no idea how I was the first to play your song on Bukedde TV,” Fifi said.
She added that she had even been taken before the disciplinary committee several times over playing his songs on air, before directly rejecting the allegation that she had extorted money from him.
“Now you claim I extorted money from you? That’s a lie,” she stated, maintaining that the accusation was untrue.
The exchange has drawn attention to the relationship between media personalities and musicians, particularly the role broadcasters play in promoting upcoming artists. Lil Pazo’s response to Fifi’s latest remarks was not included in the statement provided, and the allegations remain disputed.
