Justine Namere, the NRM flag bearer for Masaka City Woman MP, has approached Kampala Metropolitan Police (KMP) over alleged assault claims made by socialite Jennifer Full Figure. The matter has drawn significant public attention and sparked conversations across social media.
According to Full Figure, on August 29, 2025, she was intercepted and assaulted by Namere and her husband along Kyadondo Road. She claims that her phone and Shs 500,000 were stolen during the alleged attack.
Namere, however, denies all allegations, insisting that neither she nor her husband was involved. She appeared at KMP to provide her side of the story and to cooperate fully with authorities.
At the police station, Namere recorded two statements: one as a suspect responding to Full Figure’s accusations, and another as a complainant, accusing Full Figure of cyber harassment and bullying. This dual approach underscores the complexity of the case.
Police officials have confirmed the investigation is ongoing and urged the public to remain calm while authorities carry out their duties without interference or speculation.
Kampala Metropolitan Police has also called on anyone with similar experiences or evidence against Full Figure to report to the authorities, aiming to ensure a fair and thorough investigation.
P Onyango, Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) and Public Relations Officer (PRO) at KMP, verified that Namere has submitted her statements and confirmed that investigations are progressing. He emphasized the importance of cooperation from all involved parties.
The case has attracted widespread attention on social media, with some following every update closely and others urging both parties to resolve their issues peacefully.
Observers note that the incident raises broader concerns about personal safety, online harassment, and the responsibilities of public figures. It also highlights the importance of using proper reporting channels for disputes.
As the investigation continues, the public awaits updates from Kampala Metropolitan Police. Authorities are hopeful that a careful review of evidence and statements will reveal the truth and ensure justice for all parties involved.
