Pastor Patience Museveni Rwabwogo has been consecrated as an Episcopal Bishop in a colourful ceremony held at Covenant Hill in Maya, Wakiso District, marking a major milestone in her Christian ministry. The ceremony coincided with the 20th anniversary celebrations of Covenant Nations Church, the ministry she founded and leads. It was presided over by renowned American evangelist Bishop Dr LaDonna C. Osborn.
President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni and First Lady Janet Museveni attended as guests of honour, alongside thousands of worshippers and religious leaders. Prominent Christian leader Pastor Enoch Adeboye and his wife, Pastor Folu Adeboye, also travelled to Uganda for the historic occasion.Rwabwogo, who committed her life to Christianity at the age of 11, has spent years building Covenant Nations Church and promoting discipleship, leadership development and community transformation. Her journey into episcopal ministry reportedly gained momentum after the 2025 Light Up Uganda for Jesus Mission at Kololo, where Bishop LaDonna Osborn recognised what she described as a calling to the episcopal office. The consecration marks a new chapter in Rwabwogo’s ministry as she takes on greater responsibility in guiding Covenant Nations Church and advancing its mission in Uganda and beyond.
