The Uganda Vocational and Technical Assessment Board (UVTAB) has confirmed that the Minister of Education and Sports will officially release the May/June 2025 end-of-programme TVET results on Friday.
UVTAB Executive Secretary Onesmus Oyesigye said the results announcement will take place at 10:00 a.m. at the UVTAB National Skills Assessment Centre on Kyambogo Hill.
“A total of 30,619 candidates registered for the May/June 2025 assessments across 499 centres. Of these, 306 (61%) were formal and 193 (39%) were informal TVET providers. Female candidates numbered 17,423 while 13,196 were male,” Oyesigye explained.
The assessments, conducted from May 2 to June 17, covered a wide range of programmes, including:
Technology Education and Training
Business Education and Training
Home Science Education and Training
Sports Education and Training
Informally Acquired Skills
Oyesigye reaffirmed UVTAB’s dedication to upholding high standards in competence assessment and certification throughout Uganda’s vocational and technical education sector.
“UVTAB remains committed to ensuring excellence in assessing and certifying competences acquired through both formal and informal TVET programmes nationwide,” he said.
