Pastor Robert Kayanja has issued a stern warning to social media influencers, bloggers and other personalities hosting Frank Gashumba to criticise the church, saying they will pay a heavy price.
His remarks come amid an escalating verbal exchange involving religious leaders and public commentators over issues surrounding church leadership and self-proclaimed men of God.
Kayanja reportedly directed his warning at individuals providing platforms for Gashumba to discuss and attack the church of Jesus Christ.
“Even those hosting Frank Gashumba on their social media platforms to attack the church of Jesus will pay a heavy price,” Kayanja warned.

The controversy has also drawn attention to media personalities, including Bruno K and Kasuku Live, who have been mentioned in discussions surrounding the ongoing exchanges.
Social media has increasingly become a battleground for debates about religious leadership, accountability and the conduct of individuals claiming to represent the church.
While some people defend public criticism of religious leaders as part of freedom of expression, others believe discussions about faith and church leadership should be handled with respect.
However, Kayanja did not clarify the specific consequences he meant by saying those hosting Gashumba would pay a heavy price, leaving the warning open to interpretation as the controversy continues.
