Chief of Defence Forces (CDF) Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba has issued a stern warning to his brother-in-law, Odrek Rwabwogo, threatening to have him arrested if he contacts any security officer without his approval. In a statement posted on his official social media platforms, Gen Muhoozi said:
“The next time Odrek dares to call any security officer without my approval he will be arrested.”The CDF did not disclose the specific incident or identify the security officers involved, but stressed that communication with security personnel should follow established channels and procedures.
The warning has sparked public discussion, particularly because of the family relationship between Gen Muhoozi and Rwabwogo, who is known for his engagements in economic and national development matters. The remarks come as Gen Muhoozi continues to use social media to comment on security, politics, leadership and other national issues.
