Ugandan singer Pallaso has broken his silence, revealing deep frustration with music veteran Bebe Cool, whom he accuses of repeatedly attacking him in public and the media.
Speaking during a TikTok live session, Pallaso said he severed ties with Bebe Cool over eight years ago and has no plans to revisit the relationship.
The Fik Fameica collaborator explained that it was his brother, Chameleone, who tried to reconcile the two artists, even inviting Pallaso to perform at the Mayanja show in Kiwatule while his other brothers were abroad.
Despite performing at the event, Pallaso said he neither received payment nor a simple thank-you from Bebe Cool for his participation, a slight that has fueled years of resentment.
“I performed because Chameleone asked me to, but I got nothing—no money, no call, nothing. Yet I saw him later speaking about me in interviews,” Pallaso said, highlighting the lack of professional courtesy.
He went on to accuse Bebe Cool of spending more energy criticizing others than focusing on improving his own music career, a pattern he said has hurt the industry and personal relationships.
Pallaso made it clear that he will not reconcile under any circumstances. “I don’t want anything to do with him. I let him go eight years ago, and that’s final,” he declared.
Warning Bebe Cool to stop mentioning him publicly, Pallaso added, “If he doesn’t leave me alone, he will see my other side. I am self-made and unafraid. I could be friends with others, like Alien Skin, but not him.”
The singer also demanded an apology, insisting that established artists should respect the efforts of those who have worked hard to rise in the music scene. “He should fear people like us who have struggled to bring our music to light,” Pallaso said.
Fans and industry insiders have been watching the feud closely, with many commenting on the tension between veteran stars and younger artists fighting for recognition, respect, and fair treatment in Uganda’s competitive music industry.
